1. Agreement and scope
This User Agreement is between you and Seventh Software, the provider of WeBand. It covers the WeBand website, member community, apps and related support. Read it with the Privacy Policy, EULA and Community Guidelines. By accepting this agreement when joining the community, you agree to follow these terms. If you do not agree, do not create an account or contribute content.
The Privacy Policy describes information handling; it is not a request for blanket consent to optional data collection. The applicable software license is explained in the EULA. Apple’s Standard EULA governs the Apple software license where applicable.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter this agreement to create a WeBand member account. Provide accurate account information, keep your credentials private and use only accounts you are authorized to control. Tell us if you believe an account has been compromised.
Verification of an email address confirms control of that address; it does not verify professional credentials, identity, experience, copyright ownership or the safety of another member. You are responsible for deciding whether a collaboration and its participants suit you.
3. What the current service provides
The live community supports accounts, talent profiles, member discovery, project briefs and collaboration applications. Availability can depend on verification, connection and device compatibility.
The demo is a simulation with fictional sample people and projects. Demo messages, invitations, files, studio tasks and sample credit choices stay on your device. They do not contact another person, publish a real collaboration or create a binding royalty or ownership agreement. Cloud studio messaging, shared media and other future features are not promised by the demo.
4. Your content and music rights
You retain the rights you hold in your music, lyrics, recordings, profile and other original content. You must own or have the permissions needed to submit content and use any third-party samples, artwork, performances, recordings or personal information included in it. Do not upload another person’s work or private information without permission.
For content you submit to the live community, you grant Seventh Software a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format and display it as needed to provide and secure the service in accordance with your choices and the Privacy Policy. This is not a transfer of ownership, a publishing agreement or an authorization for us to sell your music. Local demo files are not submitted to us and are not covered by this hosting license.
The hosting license ends when the relevant content is removed, except for limited backup, legal or security retention described in the Privacy Policy and copies other people independently retain. You may request account and associated content deletion.
5. Agree collaboration details directly
WeBand introduces people; it is not your agent, employer, label, publisher, collecting society or party to a member-to-member collaboration. We do not promise work, earnings, professional results or compatibility.
Before sharing valuable work, agree directly in writing on scope, contribution, deadlines, expenses, payment, ownership, credits, licenses, confidentiality and release permissions. A sample split, message, acceptance screen or demo action does not by itself assign copyright, royalties or payment obligations. WeBand does not hold or distribute collaboration payments in the current release.
6. Acceptable use and zero tolerance for abuse
We do not tolerate objectionable content or abusive users. Follow the Community Guidelines and applicable law. You must not use WeBand to threaten, harass, bully, discriminate, scam, impersonate, exploit or endanger another person.
Prohibited material includes child sexual abuse or exploitation, grooming or sexualization of minors, non-consensual intimate content, pornography, hateful attacks, threats of violence, infringement, malicious software, doxxing and spam. Do not circumvent access controls, scrape private member data, compromise accounts or interfere with the service.
Do not arrange unsafe meetings or pressure someone to share private material, pay money or grant rights. No account, profile or project may be used to solicit illegal or exploitative activity.
7. Reports, moderation and appeals
Report safety concerns, abuse or alleged infringement to support@seventh.dev. Include the profile or project location and a description; do not send passwords or copies of illegal material. Our support page provides a report contact.
We review concerns and may restrict visibility, remove content, suspend or terminate access, or take other proportionate action to protect people and enforce these terms. Urgent safety or legal risks may require action without advance notice. We may preserve information or report confirmed illegal content to the appropriate authority where required by law.
You can contact the same address to ask about an enforcement decision or seek correction. Reports and appeals should be made in good faith. We do not promise continuous monitoring, immediate responses or protection against every harmful action by a third party.
8. Fees and store terms
The current WeBand community and demo do not sell subscriptions, in-app digital purchases or royalty services. Any future paid offer must show its price, renewal/cancellation terms and applicable conditions before you choose it. Store billing and refund rules and mandatory consumer rights apply to purchases made through a store. No purchase is required to submit a privacy or deletion request.
9. Ending your use and requesting deletion
You can stop using WeBand, uninstall the app, change profile visibility or request deletion of your account and associated data. Uninstalling or signing out alone does not delete cloud information.
We may limit or end access for material violations, legal requirements, security concerns or discontinuation of the service, subject to applicable law. Where practicable and appropriate, we provide notice and a chance to address the issue. Ending access does not remove mandatory data rights or existing lawful obligations between collaborators.
10. Software and external services
Seventh Software and its licensors retain rights in WeBand’s software, branding and design. Your permitted software use is governed by the EULA and applicable open-source licenses. You may not copy or exploit our software or branding beyond those permissions.
External sample links, member-selected services, app stores and hosting/authentication providers have their own terms. We do not control the content, availability or practices of an independent linked site.
11. Availability, responsibility and mandatory rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available without a guarantee of uninterrupted access, a particular creative or commercial result, or the accuracy of member-provided information. Keep independent copies of work important to you and use reasonable care when collaborating.
To the extent the law permits, we are not responsible for losses arising from another member’s conduct, inaccurate user content, independent external services or a failure to keep appropriate backups. Nothing in this agreement excludes or limits non-excludable liability, fraud, intentional misconduct, mandatory warranties, refund rights or other consumer protections. You retain access to courts and remedies available under applicable law. These terms do not require arbitration or waive mandatory local consumer rights.
12. Changes and contact
We may change the service and these terms. We will provide appropriate notice of material changes and seek renewed acceptance where required. New terms do not retrospectively remove rights that have already accrued.
Questions about WeBand, these terms, intellectual property or support can be sent to Seventh Software at support@seventh.dev. The current legal documents remain available on appweband.com.
